About This Policy
This Waiver & Liability Policy outlines the terms under which athletes participate in training sessions offered by 4U4G Athletics. By registering an athlete for any programme, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they understand and agree to the statements below. These terms reflect the contents of the signed waiver completed during registration
1. Acknowledgement of Risk
Participation in sports training, conditioning, agility drills, and skill development carries inherent risks. These may include sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, heat-related illness, accidental contact with other participants, and other unforeseen injuries.4U4G Athletics prioritises safety at all times, though risk cannot be fully removed from athletic activity.
2. Assumption of Risk
By enrolling an athlete, the parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for their participation and assumes all risks of injury, illness, or harm that may occur before, during, or after training sessions.
3. Release of Liability
Parents and guardians agree to release and hold harmless 4U4G Athletics, including its owners, coaches, staff, volunteers, facility partners, and affiliates, from any liability related to:
Personal injury
Property damage
Medical expenses
Accidents or incidents occurring at training sessions, competitions, or events
This release applies whether a situation arises from participant actions, facility conditions, or any other contributing factor.
4. Medical Authorisation
4U4G Athletics staff are authorised to provide basic first aid and to contact emergency medical services when necessary.Parents and guardians accept responsibility for all medical costs incurred as a result of injury or emergency care.
They are expected to disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or restrictions prior to participation.
5. Behaviour & Conduct Requirements
Athletes must follow coach instructions, facility rules, and 4U4G behaviour expectations.Failure to meet these standards may result in removal from the programme without refund.
6. Media Consent
Parents or guardians may choose whether to allow photos or video footage of their athlete to be used for social media, marketing, or promotional purposes.Consent is optional and recorded during registration.
7. No Refund Policy
All fees paid to 4U4G Athletics are non-refundable. This applies in all circumstances, including:
Schedule conflicts
Change of interest
Missed sessions (for illness, travel, or personal reasons)
Removal from the programme due to behaviour issues
Additional details:
Missed sessions are not credited or refunded.
Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and may be provided at the discretion of 4U4G Athletics.
If 4U4G Athletics cancels a session due to facility issues or emergencies, a rescheduled date or future credit may be offered.
Weather-related cancellations for outdoor sessions will be rescheduled when possible, but refunds will not be issued.
8. Parent/Guardian Agreement
By completing registration and signing the waiver, the parent or guardian confirms that:
All provided information is accurate
The athlete is physically able to participate in training
They have read and understood the Waiver & Liability Policy
They voluntarily agree to all terms set out in this document and referenced in the registration form
Athletes aged 14 and above may also be asked to acknowledge these terms.
